EOLAS has held 2 multiplier events during the month of June to present the results achieved by the eSilver Tour project.
The first of them, held at the Integral Development Center "Municipios Centro" that the Badajoz Provincial Council manages in the city of Calamonte, has had the participation of various professionals and companies related to social and health care services for the elderly . All of them were interested in the profile of experts in eSilver Tourism since they considered leisure and free time as key to achieving an active aging of our seniors.
On the other hand, an information day was also held in the city of Puebla de la Calzada where professionals in the field of tourism and rural development, both from the public and private sectors, were able to learn first-hand about the training program developed. And it is that, in an eminently rural region like Extremadura, senior tourism is a key opportunity for economic development. In addition, the aging population of this territory increasingly demands more opportunities to access leisure services that, through strategies such as those developed by eSilver Tour, can manage to connect supply and demand to achieve a higher level of well-being.
